The catalog/shop is currently closed while we retool. Watch this space for news!
I've started a new blog called
Knotty Notions about
my knot explorations. I hope to update it daily...
On Thursday, December 6, 2007 from 10:30-11:30 at the Crafthouse, Carol will be doing a
demo (make and take) of a stellar knot ornament.

Everything! But let's
try to quantify that a little better:
- I want this to be your site as much as it is mine. I
welcome you to tell
me what you want from a community as well as a
store. So, send
me images of your work and I will post them. At the
end of each month, each image will be considered an entry
into a random draw for a CAD$20 gift certificate. When I
get some voting software installed, we will also have a
vote on the month's best work. The winner will receive
fame and acclaim from her/his adoring public (possibly,
some free string/thread/beads as well, we'll see).
- The Dao of Silk is sponsoring the latest kumi2
braid exchange (swap). Open to all levels of skill, join
the kumi2 Yahoo group (before July 2005) to see what the
hubbub is about. Finished braids are due September 1,
- I'll be teaching a 2 day workshop, Introduction
to Asian Knotting, in scenic Gibsons, BC at the Gibsons
Landing Fibre Arts Festival on Aug 17-18, 2005
if enough people sign up for the class. Early
bird registration has begun and goes until June 30, 2005.
